WORSHIP

SUNDAYS AT TRINITY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

The Triune God of the Bible alone is worthy of our adoration and worship. We gather for corporate worship with the intent and desire to glorify God as He has commanded us to do.

We gather for worship every Lord’s Day (Sunday) at 11:30 AM.

THE LITURGY

Our worship is what might be termed traditional and liturgical. We believe we are called to “offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe” (Hebrews 12:28) and that “all things should be done decently and in order” (1 Corinthians 14:40).

During the Worship Service, an elder or pastor leads us through the order of worship, as found in the bulletin. A sample of our liturgy can be found here

The Word

THE WORD

The public reading and preaching of God’s word are central to our worship. Our church engages in expository preaching. This means our pastor expounds scripture by going through a book of the Bible and relevantly applying it to our contemporary times and modern lives.

THE SACRAMENT

We celebrate the two sacraments of the Lord: Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

We celebrate the Table of our Lord weekly. We invite all members and visitors who truly believe in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation, are repentant of their sins, are baptised in the Lord, and are members of an evangelical church to join us for Holy Communion.
